Gas and Liquid Leak-Test Technician
The technician prepares test objects, fixtures and media; performs approved bubble, pressure, tracer-gas or liquid-penetration leak tests; monitors safety conditions; and records results.
Expected background
- Industrial inspection, pressure testing or vacuum-equipment experience
- Safe work with gases, liquids, hoses, regulators and pressure-rated fixtures
- Accurate use of controlled procedures and inspection records
- Required personnel qualification for the assigned method and jurisdiction
