Absolute-pressure capacitance diaphragm gauge offered in full-scale ranges from 0.1 to 1000 Torr. The CM1 uses a gas-species-independent measurement principle, a linear 0–10 V output and unheated, 45 °C or 100 °C temperature-control configurations.
Description
CBVAC CM1 Capacitance Diaphragm Gauge
The CM1 measures absolute pressure from diaphragm deflection and capacitance change. This mechanical pressure principle is substantially independent of gas thermal properties, while chemical compatibility depends on the complete set of wetted materials.
| Available full-scale ranges stated in source record | 0.1, 0.25, 1, 2, 10, 20, 100, 500 and 1000 Torr |
|---|---|
| Accuracy stated for applicable 45 °C versions | ±0.12% of reading; confirm range and temperature conditions |
| Resolution | 0.001% of full scale |
| Response time | <20 ms |
| Temperature-control options | Unheated, 45 °C or 100 °C |
| Analog output | 0–10 V DC; load >10 kΩ |
| Supply | ±15 V DC ±5%; current depends on heater configuration |
| Electrical connector | DB15 male in the source configuration |
| Process connections | KF16, KF25, CF16, CF35, 8VCR, 8VCO, 1/2-inch tube and 3/8-inch VCR options stated in source record |
| Maximum overpressure stated in source record | 310 kPa |
| Wetted material stated in source record | Corrosion-resistant nickel alloy |
| Warm-up | 2 h for full scales ≥1 Torr; 4 h for lower ranges in the source record |
The chosen full scale determines usable resolution, zero stability and overload behavior. A 1000 Torr gauge and a 0.1 Torr gauge are different instruments, not one auto-ranging sensor.
Confirm full scale, heating temperature, wetted materials, fitting, power, connector pinout, accuracy basis, zeroing procedure and calibration certificate before ordering. Do not use a measurement output as the sole safety interlock without an independent risk assessment.
