Metal-bodied thermal vacuum sensor for dry air or nitrogen. The SK-TP4 operates from 1.3 × 10−2 to 2.7 × 10¹ Pa, with a stated measurement range of 1.3 × 10−1 to 2.7 × 10¹ Pa, and connects through a KF10/16 clamp fitting.
Description

Meradat SK-TP4 Thermal Vacuum Sensor
The SK-TP4 is a primary thermal vacuum transducer for dry-air or nitrogen pressure measurement. Heat loss from the sensing element changes with gas density; a compatible Meradat-VIT controller converts that electrical response into a pressure reading.
| Measurement principle | Thermal conductivity |
|---|---|
| Operating range | 1.3 × 10−2 to 2.7 × 101 Pa |
| Measurement range | 1.3 × 10−1 to 2.7 × 101 Pa |
| Permissible system error stated in source record | ±30% from 0.133 to 13.33 Pa |
| Compatible instruments | Meradat-VIT12T6, VIT16T5, VIT16T6 and VIT19IT2 |
| Vacuum connection | KF10/16 clamp connection |
| Sensor body | Metal |
| Connection cable | KS-TP cable for PMT-2 / SK-TP4, typically 2 m or 5 m; confirm supply scope |
| Calibration gas | Dry air or nitrogen |
Thermal-gauge response is gas-dependent. Correction or process-specific calibration is required for gases other than dry air or nitrogen. Mount the sensor where it is protected from condensate, particles, oil mist and direct process flow.
