Application-specific manifold for evacuating a product, admitting helium or inert gas at controlled pressure, preparing gas mixtures and recovering or venting test gas. Pressure rating and safety architecture are engineered for the service.
Description
Controlled Gas-Pressure and Evacuation System
This system prepares products for leak testing by evacuation, tracer-gas filling, pressure stabilization and controlled removal of used gas. A final working-gas fill can be included only when compatible with the equipment and site rules.
Typical scope
- Vacuum pump, isolation and pressure measurement
- Gas regulators, valves, filters and rated manifold
- Mass-flow or mixing equipment where a defined blend is required
- Relief devices, vent or recovery connection and purge logic
- Interlocked control, recipe logging and functional testing
Specify every gas, source pressure, maximum product pressure, fill rate, cleanliness class, allowed materials and discharge destination. Components rated for vacuum are not automatically suitable for positive pressure.
Helium displaces oxygen; hydrogen-containing mixtures and oxygen service introduce additional hazards. Relief protection and safe-state functions must remain effective independently of the control software.
