Oil-sealed two-stage rotary vane pump with a nominal pumping speed of 2 L/s at 50 Hz and an ultimate pressure of 4 × 10−2 Pa with the gas ballast closed. Compact DN25KF connections and anti-suckback protection suit laboratory and instrument backing applications.
Description
KYKY RV2 Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump
The RV2 is the smallest model in KYKY's direct-drive, two-stage oil-sealed rotary vane pump family. It can operate as a standalone rough-vacuum pump or back a turbomolecular, diffusion, cryogenic or Roots pump.
| Nominal pumping speed | 2 L/s at 50 Hz; 2.4 L/s at 60 Hz |
|---|---|
| Ultimate pressure, gas ballast closed | 4 × 10−2 Pa in the applicable manufacturer manual |
| Ultimate pressure, gas ballast position II | 4 Pa |
| Inlet / exhaust connection | DN25KF |
| Oil charge | Approximately 1.1 L; use manufacturer-approved vacuum oil |
| Motor | 0.55 kW; single- or three-phase options are identified in manufacturer literature |
| Nominal speed | 1,420 rpm at 50 Hz; 1,710 rpm at 60 Hz |
| Noise with gas ballast closed | Approximately 50 dB(A) under the stated test conditions |
| Approximate weight | 27 kg |
The pump includes gas-ballast capability for condensable vapor, an oil-level sight glass and anti-suckback protection. Typical applications include vacuum instruments, leak-test systems, research chambers, coating equipment and forevacuum service.
This oil-sealed pump is not intended for explosive, corrosive, toxic or particle-laden gases without a process-specific engineering assessment. Route the exhaust safely and use an oil-mist filter where required. Confirm motor voltage and phase, plug, inlet hardware, oil, exhaust filter and current manual before ordering.
