Oil-sealed two-stage rotary vane pump with a nominal pumping speed of 14 L/s at 50 Hz and an ultimate pressure of 4 × 10−2 Pa with the gas ballast closed. The three-phase RV14 supports industrial rough-vacuum and backing duties through DN40KF connections.
Description
KYKY RV14 Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump
The RV14 is a direct-drive, two-stage oil-sealed rotary vane pump for industrial rough-vacuum service and backing of turbomolecular, Roots, diffusion or other high-vacuum pumps.
| Nominal pumping speed | 14 L/s at 50 Hz; 16.8 L/s at 60 Hz |
|---|---|
| Ultimate pressure, gas ballast closed | 4 × 10−2 Pa |
| Ultimate pressure, gas ballast I / II | 4 × 10−1 Pa / 4 Pa |
| Permissible water-vapor pressure | 5,000 Pa in the applicable manufacturer manual |
| Inlet / exhaust connection | DN40KF |
| Oil charge | Approximately 4.5 L |
| Motor | 1.5 kW, three-phase |
| Nominal speed | 1,420 rpm at 50 Hz; 1,710 rpm at 60 Hz |
| Noise with gas ballast closed | Approximately 56 dB(A) |
| Approximate weight | 66 kg |
Typical applications include larger vacuum chambers, coating and thermal equipment, leak-test systems and centralized forevacuum service. Gas ballast improves condensable-vapor handling but increases the final pressure.
Confirm motor voltage, phase, rotation direction, overload protection, inlet hardware, oil, exhaust filter and ventilation. The pump is not a default solution for corrosive, explosive, toxic or particle-laden process streams.
