Combined Pirani and cold-cathode gauge for pressure monitoring from 1 × 10−6 to 1 × 10⁵ Pa in air or nitrogen. The AGP4000 includes a color TFT display, 0–10 V analog output, RS-485 Modbus RTU, 15–30 V DC supply and a KF25 connection.
Description
ASAIR AGP4000 Wide-Range Vacuum Gauge
The AGP4000 combines a continuously operating Pirani channel for rough and medium vacuum with a cold-cathode ionization channel for high vacuum. Automatic channel management provides one pressure reading across the stated range. The instrument is intended for process monitoring rather than reference metrology.
| Measurement principle | Pirani plus cold-cathode ionization |
|---|---|
| Measurement range | 1 × 10−6 to 1 × 105 Pa for nitrogen or air |
| Accuracy stated in source documentation | ±30% of reading for nitrogen |
| Repeatability stated in source record | ±5% of reading for nitrogen |
| Analog output | 0–10 V; obtain the transfer function for the supplied revision |
| Digital interface | RS-485, Modbus RTU |
| Display | Color TFT-LCD; selectable Pa, Torr and mbar units |
| Supply | 15–30 V DC |
| Power consumption | ≤6 W in the source record |
| Vacuum connection | KF25 |
| Process-side materials stated in source record | 304 and 431 stainless steel, with an electropolished surface |
| Operating temperature | +5 to +55 °C |
Typical applications include coating and semiconductor equipment, vacuum furnaces, drying and degassing systems, analytical instruments and research chambers. Pirani response is gas-dependent, while cold-cathode readings and ignition behavior also depend on gas, contamination and installation conditions.
Confirm the exact analog-output curve, RJ45 pinout, Modbus map, cable, power supply, switch-over behavior and calibration documentation before integration. Keep the sensing volume clean and follow the manufacturer instructions for mounting, high-voltage operation and service.
