KYKY KYF-181 combination Pirani and cold-cathode transmitter for 1 × 10⁵ to 5 × 10⁻⁶ Pa. Stated accuracy: ±50% of reading; supply: 18–30 V DC; RJ45 electrical connection; KF25 vacuum flange. Intended for non-flammable, non-corrosive gases. Confirm output scaling, cable and controller compatibility before ordering.
Description
KYKY KYF-181 Pirani / Cold-Cathode Vacuum Transmitter
The KYF-181 combines a Pirani sensor for rough and low vacuum with a cold-cathode ionization sensor for high vacuum. Automatic transition between the sensing principles provides continuous pressure monitoring from atmosphere to the high-vacuum region.
| Measurement range | 1 × 105 to 5 × 10−6 Pa |
|---|---|
| Measurement principles | Pirani thermal-conductivity gauge and cold-cathode ionization gauge |
| Accuracy | ±50% of reading |
| Supply | +18 to +30 V DC |
| Electrical connection | RJ45 |
| Vacuum connection | KF25 |
| Operating temperature | +5 to +50 °C |
| Storage temperature | −40 to +85 °C |
| Relative humidity | ≤65%, non-condensing |
| Approximate dimensions | 68 × 50 × 125 mm |
| Compatible media stated by manufacturer | Non-flammable, non-corrosive gases |
Typical applications include vacuum chambers, coating equipment, turbomolecular-pump stations and leak detectors that require monitoring through rough- and high-vacuum pump-down.
Both Pirani and cold-cathode readings are gas-dependent. The stated accuracy is not a calibration-grade uncertainty across the entire range. Confirm gas compatibility, output-voltage equation, transition behavior, ignition logic, cable pinout, controller compatibility, flange and maintenance procedure before ordering.
