DN160 turbomolecular pump with 650 L/s nitrogen and 550 L/s helium pumping speed in the source technical table. LF and CF inlet versions, grease-lubricated ceramic ball bearings, RS-485 control and air or water cooling support medium-size high-vacuum systems.
Description
CBVAC JFB-160/701 Turbomolecular Pump
The JFB-160/701 is a DN160 high-throughput turbomolecular pump with grease-lubricated ceramic ball bearings. Although the model is often marketed in a 700 L/s class, the technical table used for this page states 650 L/s for nitrogen.
| Pumping speed | 650 L/s for nitrogen; 550 L/s for helium |
|---|---|
| Ultimate pressure | <5 × 10−7 Pa with CF inlet; <5 × 10−6 Pa with LF/ISO-K inlet |
| Compression ratio | 1 × 1011 for nitrogen; 1 × 104 for helium |
| Main inlet | DN160 LF/ISO-K or CF160 |
| Foreline connection | KF25 or KF40, configuration-dependent |
| Recommended backing pump | 4–10 L/s |
| Maximum continuous foreline pressure | 300 Pa for nitrogen; 200 Pa for helium |
| Nominal / standby rotor speed | 36,000 / 25,200 rpm |
| Acceleration / stopping time | Approximately 5 min / 5 min |
| Controller | JFB-III or JFB-III-B; 220 V AC ±10% |
| Interfaces | RS-485 and DB15 logic I/O |
| Cooling | Air or water; source water specification ≥1.5 L/min at 15–30 °C |
| Approximate weight | 20 kg LF; 23 kg CF in current product data |
The original page title stated 700 L/s, but its own detailed specification stated 650 L/s. This English page uses the detailed value. Confirm the current datasheet, ordering code, controller, cable, cooling and orientation before ordering.
Use safe start, cooling, backing and vent interlocks. Do not expose a spinning rotor to shock, particles or sudden air inrush.
