Configurable pumping kit for evacuating vessels and test chambers before helium leak testing. The package combines a nominal 300 L/s turbomolecular stage with a selected backing pump, valves, gauges and control equipment.
Description
LeakLab 100/300 High-Vacuum Pumping Kit
This package provides auxiliary evacuation for vessels, chambers and test fixtures that should not be pumped down through the leak detector alone. The 100/300 designation refers to the nominal inlet class and turbomolecular pumping-speed class used in the source configuration.
Typical package
- Approximately 300 L/s turbomolecular pump with nominal DN100 inlet
- Backing pump sized for volume, gas load and cycle time
- High-vacuum and foreline valves, venting and pressure measurement
- Controller, interlocks, frame and connection kit
- Optional port for a helium leak detector or reference leak
Effective chamber speed will be lower than the pump's nameplate speed and depends strongly on line conductance. Ultimate pressure and pump-down time must be calculated from chamber volume, outgassing, leakage, line geometry and process gas.
The final quotation must state pump models, flange standards, backing speed, cooling, mains supply, purge, interfaces, exhaust requirements and guaranteed acceptance-test conditions.
